Bride and groom: Julie & Carlos Pulido
Tell us a little about your love story:
It was Love at first sight, from the moment we laid eyes on each other we knew it would be for a life time.
This day I married my best friend September 15, 2012
We knew Sausalito would be the city where we would get married. Sausalito holds a special place in our hearts, that small romantic city has a lot of meaning to us. It's where my husband asked me to be his girlfriend, and it's also where he proposed! We felt the Flood Mansion was perfect for our reception, overlooking the golden gate bridge and beautiful Sausalito.

We decide to do something intimate, romantic, and elegant. We wanted to be surrounded by family and close friends and create a classic moment that we could cherish forever.
Champagne and Ivory
I instantly fell in love with my Alvina Valenta gown, since the first time I tried it on, it brought tears to my eyes. In that moment I knew it was the dress that I was going to say "I Do" in. I loved every detail about my dress, from the fluted silhouette to the delicate alencon lace and sweetheart neckline, it really embedded all the qualities I envisioned. My silk cathedral veil had a custom made alencon lace trim, which I think completed my look.

The Groom’s look:
My handsome groom wore a classic tuxedo by Ralph Lauren with a tom ford bowtie and custom made cufflinks with both our name and wedding date.
Bridal Party look:
The gown for my bridesmaids was a trumpet dress in the color Fuchsia with a Royal Blue sash and shoes, with a hint of sparkle.
Everything! From our ivory lace overlay that we draped our tables with, to our tall romantic and luscious white arrangements on a crystal vase. Truly everything was as I dreamed and then some. We worked hard to make our vision a reality.
My favorite moment was right after we said our I DO's. I had no idea that my husband had his talented nephew, Mario Pulido III compose and sing a song that highlighted our relationship, which was titled "Followed my Heart". It was a beautiful surprise!
My Wedding Must Have:
Yummy food. We customized our menu to reflect foods that we love, we wanted our guest to enjoy every bite. Great music was a must for entertainment, we opted for classical jazz and live Mariachi.
If I could do it over again:
I wouldn't change anything, but I would love to relive that moment. I had the most amazing day celebrating our love with family and friends!
One thing I learned:
My husband insisted in having valet at our event, and it was truly a great investment. The ceremony was located at a church on top of a hill. Reception was in the heart of the city, so gifting our guests with not having to worry about finding parking or walking in heels. my hubby knew best
Anything you’d like to add:
A wedding is a beautiful experience, planning and creating is always fun and exciting. But in the end, what I will cherish most is that I'm blessed to have married my best friend, soul mate, and love of my life...because that is what will last a lifetime.
